Briefly, I would like to define here that when using a multi-timbral compatible VST plug-in instrument on Cubase 13, it is very troublesome to make the channel setting panel appear after 2 channels.
I’m attaching a picture because I think it’s hard to understand.
In Cubase 12, I can get to the channel setting panel of the channel in question by following the flow as follows.
1: Select the midi track after channel 2 and call up the channel setting panel.
2: Click on the red circle.
3: The channel settings panel you want to view opens.
However, I found a bug that the routing of the channel panel is set to 1 channel when I invoke the channel settings panel after 2 channels from Cubase 13. I found something like this.
If you re-set the channels from the left inspector, you will see the proper routing. However, if I create a track preset in that state and then bring up that preset again, the above problem occurs again.
This is probably a bug, right?
Because of this problem, I have to move my mouse all the way to the left inspector and click, instead of using the shortcut, to access the channel settings panel.
Please address this bug as soon as possible.
If this is not a bug and I am doing something wrong with my settings or my way of doing things, I apologize.
If so, I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to fix it.
Even though it is set to channel 2 in the inspector on the left.
Is this just a bug for me?
The key to this supposed bug is to open the Channel Settings panel in a separate window using the shortcut key, instead of opening it in the left inspector.”
If it’s not too much trouble, try opening it with the shortcut key set to “Open Channel Settings”.
Maybe it’s a bug in my environment, but I had no problem in 12.
1:Assign “Open Channel Settings” to an appropriate shortcut.
2:Create a sound track with multitimbral settings as desired.
3::Set the output settings for the second and subsequent channels properly in the left inspector.
4: Save the multi-timbral tracks you have created as track presets and delete the tracks.
5: Start up the track presets you just created.
6: Select the track after channel 2 in the track preset and open the channel settings in a separate panel window using the shortcut keys.
When I do this, the channel settings panel opens in a separate window, and it shows channel 1, even though it is channel 2.
If I re-set the settings one more time in the left spectator, it fixes it properly,
But this means that I have to re-set it every time I call up a track preset.
I had checked this thread in one of my searches.
It may indeed be similar.
I am Japanese, so my English is not perfect and I don’t understand it completely.
It may have turned out to be a similar thread.
I’m not sure if this thread is similar or not, but I’m not sure.
As you can see from this picture, I have created a track preset from scratch and reloaded it, but it still shows track 1 when I call up the channel settings panel, even though I have specified a second track.
In your last post you mentioned that this was a bug.
Is this still an unfixed bug?
