Bug with the line editor

When I open the line editor window, it opens way too big for my screen so that I can’t for example create or edit a new line. When I then try to make the window smaller it disappears. Anyone else with this issue? I’m running Dorico Pro 4 with Windows 10 22H2.

What kind of machine are you running it on? Mac laptop? Win 10 desktop?
Knowing that might help someone give you suggestions.

A Lenovo Thinkpad X1 laptop with Windows 10 22H2.

What screen resolution are you running at, Arttu?

If all else fails, you could try quitting Dorico and then removing the Windows Registry keys that persist all of Dorico’s window and dialog sizes and positions, which you’ll find at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Steinberg-Dorico4\dialogGeometry

Delete that whole dialogGeometry key, then quit the Registry editor and start Dorico again.

Hi thanks for replying! I kind of solved it myself, it was just a setting in Windows that forced all texts and softwares 150% bigger when using the integrated laptot screen (1920x1080). I reduced this to 125% and now it works again. The texts and icons are smaller for sure but managable.
I’ll try your solution as well when I have the time.
