Bug with the Sampler Track in Cubase

I’m experiencing a possible bug with the Sampler Track in Cubase.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a Sampler Track.

  2. Load a sample into it.

  3. Duplicate the track.

  4. Load a different sample into the duplicated track.

After doing this, if I perform certain actions, the sample in the duplicated track unexpectedly reverts back to the original sample.

In other words, the copied track seems to lose the newly loaded sample and returns to the sample used in the original track.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Is this a known bug or expected behavior?
