Build tuplet in 9/8

Hi, How can I write a 2- or a 4-tuplet in Cubase 15 Score?

I can write with dotted notes, but i haven’t found a way to do tuplet (2:3, 4:3).

Hi,

Do you want to write it in the Score Editor or do you already have the right notes in the Key Editor and you want to show it in the Score Editor? How is the Display Quantize set up?

Hi, thank you for replay, I want to write it in the Score Editor. In the Key Editor notes events are right (screenshot a), but in Score editor I obtened a wrong visualization (screenshot b). I send also the Display Quantize (screenshot c).

The “apply quantize (Q)” button always reverts to the “3:2” setting after I change it. Is this normal?

I don’t know for sure, it’s a bit of magic!

I use DQ as you can see in the picture below. Than I apply 2:3 from the tuplet menu. Than I have to set the note lengths right, because they get messed up. Here they will be a dotted eighth note in length. maybe check the position of the notes if they didn’t move.

Creating Tuplet issue Cubase 14

I’ve read that there are problems with tuplets. In Cubase 11, 12, and 13, before Dorico technology, this was possible. I hope Steinberg will soon prepare a release that allows for the writing of N-tuplets.
