Spyder, what could also be helpful to learn about WL basics, is to download the WL6 pdf manual. (Until there is a WL7 manual ) Not that it’s applicable directly to all WL7 functions, but it might help you understand the basic concepts behind the montage functions.

Thanks Arjan, but, as I mentioned earlier in the thread, I do in fact have an operational manual for Wavelab 7 Elements that I downloaded from this page on the Steinberg site :

I have indeed gone through the manual, and I think it is more of a reference book than a “how to” manual. I personally do not find it very helpful for a newcomer to the program. Cubase has a “Getting Started” manual, and I think we need something similar for Wavelab - plus a few videos if possible!
The WL7 documentation is indeed nothing close to a manual. That’s why I mentioned Wavelab 6.
