But VST3 silence when there is not an event or when there is zero signal in a event?
I know that na feature of VST3 is an automatic activation when there is an audio signal but i don’t understand when is not activate.
If it is necessary i cut all silence portion but only if is necessary for de-activate vst3.
let me know. bye bye

Hello,

A VST 3 Plugin will not use CPU power when complete silence is beeing recieved by the plugin. You can change this behaviour in the preferences of Cubase. Have a look at the manual or at the “Help” at the preferences for more details.

Cheers,

Chris

I may be wrong on this but
AFAIK this behavior is only for ‘Audio Tracks’ using VST3 audio plug-ins.

This behavior is not true when using VST3 VSTI’s (HalionSonic SE etc) receiving
vs. not receiving MIDI events.
