Bypass "PRE" section on Mix Console doesn't bypass the gain

Dear forumers,

in the Mix Console, I think I remember I was able to bypass the Gain value disabling the whole “Pre” section.
Please take a look at this screenshot: with the “Pre” bypassed isn’t the Gain supposed to not have any influence on the track?
Is this a bug or intuited behavior?

This is intended. The Bypass button for the PRE section only applies to the High-Cut and Low-Cut filters. I don’t think it ever affected the Gain.
