It appears that in C 8.5 duplicate notes are being created when applying the chord track. In the attached example the first track is without the chord track applied, and the second track is after the application of the chord track. As you can see, in some cases duplicate notes are being created.

What is your Voicing setup, please? Do you configure your own voicing parameters? If I do so, I can force Cubase to make a double-notes.
All the chords are set to triads in root position. Note, however, that in the pattern inversions are used.
