Noticed this a while ago but thought it would be fixed. Not sure why no-one has brought it up but Cubase midi Export outputs a .midi file instead of a .mid file.
Importing that into some software is not a runner. Sibelius does not read that file and chooses to filter it out the choice. I can get around it by manually renaming the file to .mid but have to do that on every export.
Is there a valid reason why Steinberg have changed the extension on the file?
