Can’t find any thread on this…
I use C12 with the new steinberg licencing system.
My computer is connected to the studio’s network, but a firewall prevent it be connected to internet.
Only allowed connections are to the NAS server where everything is stored ( cubase projects, audio recording, sound banks… )
I can’t disconnect the NAS & computer from internet as the NAS make nightly backups to another NAS outside the studio.
Althought i have made my activation on this computer “offline” thru Steinberg Activation Manager
… But still C12 won’t start AT ALL if the firewall block internet traffic…
it really bother big time because i really want the 3 workstations at the studio NOT connected to the internet ( we got personnal laptops for this… )
