So since forever, when I double-click from the project window into the sample editor, the view is located to the position of the cursor. I installed C13 last week, and now when I click into the sample editor, it takes me to the start of the part. Did this change with the latest version, or did I miss a setting? Thanks.
You’ll most likely get the zoom to cursor back if you activate “Follow” (default key F).
No, that didn’t work. F sets the auto-scroll.
If anyone reads this post looking for a solution to my issue: At the top of the sample editor, there is a drop-down menu called “Zoom.” Enable “Auto-zoom to Event.” This is the way.
I am glad you found the solution.
Forgive me, I am an old fart. Way back auto-scroll used to be called “Follow Song”, thus why it is on the key F and not A. In my mind it still is called this way.
I bet I’m an older fart. I started using Cubase in 1992, on my Atari Falcon computer. I don’t remember that it was called Follow Song, but I’m sure you’re correct.
