As the title says. The option to reset Event colour to the Track colour does not appear to be working.
Maybe it’s something I’m doing?

Maybe tell us what you are doing?
I’m selecting an Event and choosing ‘Set to Track Color’ from the colour picker.
Is the event’s track in a folder and does the track not have a specific color assigned to it?
I seem to have found a reproducable pattern to this…
This is a song that was created on a Mac. I am loading and working on it on a Win 11 PC.
After loading in the song I see that it is set to 64 colours. I want to return it to the basic 16 colours, so I go into the Project Colors dialogue and choose ‘Reset Color Set to Factory Settings’.
In some of the Tracks the Event colours now go white, different to the Track colour, which has now changed. I select the white Events and choose (from the bar at the top of the Arrange window) ‘Set Event Color to Track Color’. Nothing happens - the Events are still white.
Looks like something to do with reducing the available colours and/or moving a Project from Mac to Windows?
I think this is where the problem lies.
I loaded one of my current projects, set the Color pallet to the factory (16 colours) setting and all of the Parts became white.
Selecting 1 or more Events and then applying/selecting one of the Factory colours had no effect.
However, when I changed the Track colour to a Factory colour, everything worked as expected: The Events took the Track colour.
(I used the Color toolbar item to effect the changes.)
I think this is a cross-platform, (and I hesitate to use the word), issue.
Looks like a bug, albeit a minor one. One for someone to pick up for Steinberg to add to the list?
