So, went to get the latest C14.0.40 update via SDA. The SDA itself needed to perform an update. After completing that, a lot of the content/applications ‘status’ listed there was carried over successfully from the previous edition, as expected.
However, under ‘MyProducts’ in the left panel and clicking on ‘Cubase Pro 14’ I see the lists of (several of my already purchased/installed) content-packs in the right panel, as being ‘not installed’ i.e. no green box and ‘tick’ against them.! What is this telling me.?
Is all this content new/updated and I should re-install (my purchased content-packs) again.? Can I just ignore (everything will still all work fine).? Is it a pre-requisite for updating to C14.0.40.? Is there a version history/release note with info/detail for this SDA update, anywhere.?
Thanks if anyone has any clues. Will hold off on the Cubase update for now.
It’s telling you that the SDA doesn’t know what’s installed or not. It’s the same here.
Just the SDA being the SDA.
Some of these are actually installed, some aren’t.

Thanks @Googly_Smythe - yes, exactly the same for me.!
As I suspected; probably nothing at all to do with content updates etc… its just so dumb - even if you haven’t changed the ‘download’ location, it has no clue how to go and look there to learn what’s what…
Can I ask, have you already updated to C14.0.40.? Any issues with content.? Will you ‘install’ those libraries that you already have, again.?!?
It’s poor from SB really, the level of ‘intelligence’ lacking in these tools.
I won’t mark as a ‘solution’ just yet. Am keen to see what other (if any) responses come along…
I have, yesterday. I haven’t put it through it’s paces, but I opened a couple of recent projects with no issues.
I may just be lucky…
Also, last Monday I did a complete re-install of Windows 10, so a fairly clean machine!
As for the libraries, I just double-click on a few existing files and the Library Manager registers everything.

Ok… understood, thanks.
I’ll have a go at the update this weekend - and probably do as you’ve done, when dealing with the Libraries.
Will mark this solved - and just move on; can’t see that there’ll be any input or change in the SDA from SB over this…

The only change to libraries that I am aware of is for Groove Agent 5 SE. You should see the avaliable update in the Update section.
