I’m reinstall windows and CS12 work fine!
Oh! Good news at least. Im glad!
Hello all,
just to say I will be presenting CS12 (and the new LXmk3 controller series) with Cubase at Gearfest in the UK, July 19th.
If you are there or there abouts, it would be great to hear about your experiences directly.
I won’t be there (I’m in Canada) but I’m hoping the new update will be out by then?
That update on time would be great, @Tim_Chandler
Are there new improvements??
We are working to bring an updated controlCore installer out next week. There’s no major updates on the Cubase side except an improvement to how plugin mappings on User Page 1 and 2 are handled - extracting plugin names from the parameter strings.
Great! Thanks Tim…
Thanks Tim!!!
That’s great news. Thank you, Tim.! Do you know if any minor bugs have also been fixed? I have a problem (confirmed by Nektar support in April) where the motor fader in [select] mode only follows the written automation data unreliably. Have you been able to make any progress on this? Anyway, thanks for keeping us up to date here!
Hello, can someone please help me telling me how to recover a Cubase plug-in configuration in the unit? Trying to fix some mapping in Frequency 2 I screwed the subpage “single band”. If I try to map it again to the third button I only get the toggle function “single/multi band” band and not the navigation through all single bands anymore. I am not able to find an option to give the button that step selection (without using Nektarine, what is not possible for Cubase plugins). Without selecting save the unit still has my wrong mapping and I am not able to load the original one. I have located the original mapping file and ist datum is from 2024, so it is not overwritten.
I was not able to find a solution here, in the Nektar site or videos. Thank you.
I answer myself. I finally understood that this line in the manual
Important: Learned parameters are remembered for as long as ControlCore is running. To revert the unsaved changes, go to Applications/Nektar/ControlCore and click stop, then start ControlCore again. To store changes permanently, save the map file in Panorama CS12s Learn Mode.
referst to go to
\Program Files\Nektar\ControlCore\ControlCore Panel.exe
then run ControlCore Panel.exe and press STOP.
Now it is reverted to its original.
In the factory configuration for Cubase plugins, under Band 4 page it was missing SC Q control and under Band 5 it was missing the SC Source control. I added them and saved the file. After reloading, the corrected file is running in the unit.
Only thing I am still not able to fix is what I said in this thread, regarding the subpages shift. But I can live with it for now.
FYI, user mappings are stored at \Documents\Nektar\Nektarine\MappingFiles.
If you ever need to you can backup, delete or share user mappings using the files in this directory.
Thank you. I am aware of this and will back up this folder.
On a side note, I found the answer to what I commented here too, about the cycle option for buttons:

Hello Tim
I have one on backorder here in Canada. Do you have any idea when they will ship a new batch to Canada?
Just checked up on this. A shipment is already on the way to Canada and should arrive in the first week of August.
update is out since yesterday
Unfortunately, I don’t see any change in the names when using user 1&2. Nevermind! I updated the firmware but didn’t install the Control Core, now it works perfectly! Thanks so much Tim and team
I just got the CS12 today and it seems to work fine.
Except for forward and rewind. These buttons were automatically programmed to be ‘nudge left’ and ‘nudge right’ which I found really weird because I never use that (they nudge 1 second which doesn’t make sense), so I changed the buttons in Cubase to be “rewind” and “forward” as they should. And it works except that they rewind and fast forward all the way and they only stop when I press stop on the transport panel. They should only rewind and ff in increments (adapt to zoom in my case) like it does on the keyboard (or on my old CC121).
Does anyone know a fix? This way I can’t use the rewind and fast forward buttons.
Oh and another thing that’s kind of bothering me. When I press play it takes about a sec or two for the sound to start playing. Whereas with the CC121 I used before it started more immediatly it seems.
