C14 and Nektar CS12

thanks @Tim_Chandler, we like to know that at least we are heard. I am one of those who WOULD like these implementations, but if it can’t be, it’s not the end of the world for me either. I love the CS12 equally.

thank you for your great work.

As I said, my preference is that when I open a plugin using the mouse, the plugin’s assigned parameters are displayed on the CS12.

Sure, following the ‘target’ plugin is on the list. That’s how things work in Presonus/Fender and I personally really like it. With the CS12 you have the choice to work in the usual way bringing up plugins using the buttons (which brings them into focus), or you bring a plugin into focus using the mouse. It just depends where your focus is at that time - controller or screen.

That said, the problem with Fender/Presonus is that a plugin ALWAYS has to be in focus to control I which is sometimes annoying particularly when working on 2 plugins at the same time.

Brilliant support Tim Chandler, thank you.

Steve

There’s been an update for a few days now. Uploaded 2026-07-26. What’s new?

Thank your letting us know about the update .. would like to know the release notes also dont want to install until then.

There is one improvement for Steinberg customers - a fix for an error seen when operating CS12 with some dynamic plugins presenting thousands of parameters such as Komplete control.

Worth updating.

I have a question. Is there any other way to exit a plugin besides pressing the “9–16” button? Because pressing that button unfortunately doesn’t take you to inserts 1–8, but rather to inserts 9–16.

Not currently. It’s on the list to review this behaviour however, I tend to agree with you.
