The screenshot explains it better than any word: when I import tempo from a project to a new one I find another ‘tempo automation dot’ where the first project finishes
Is this normal? I don’t think so
i think I should have in the new project a copy of the first one, i.e. Just one ‘tempo dot’ at start
Any idea? Thanks
[same behaviour in C13]
Hi,
Could you please attach a screenshot of the Tempo curve before import? And also the Tempo curve of the source Project, please.

thanks martin, but I did this example with 2 empty projects, the tempo track is empty, except for the starting dot (in the origin project) and the starting dot plus the unexpected dot in the new project
1 I open an empty project with Cubase empty template, just change the tempo from the transport bar, save and quit. (the tempo track is active, everything is untouched like in a default empty template. I also set the tempo “with tempo track deactivated to the same value”, just to be sure…)
2 I open another empty template and as first move I try to import tempo and time signature, and the result is what you see up there
(more specific)
after importing in the new empty template at the end of the origin project duration there’s another dot that brings back the tempo to the original tempo of the new empty project
if the new project duration doesnt exceed the origin project you dont see it, but if the new project has a longer duration a new dot appears on the timeline
I dont think this is expected, there’s maybe some kind of preference I dont remember
this screenshot is from the second-empty project, the result after importing
hey martin sorry for disturbing you, just a friendly reminder for this topic whenever you can give a look into it thanks!
Noone can test this during Christmas time?
happy holidays!
