Here is an interesting situation.
- I could click freeze my MIDI tracks
- they are now “un-editable” in MIDI editor
- BUT CAN’T unfreeze them as popup shows (You cannot freeze a track with modulators):
- I can’t unfreeze the tracks with the asterisk button
- Somehow couldn’t from the dropdown menu: EDIT → Freeze/Unfreeze
- UPD: could finally delete freeze files under EDIT → Frezze/Unfreeze
Hi,
Could you please describe (or attach) your project? Where is the MIDI Track routed to? How are the modulators involved on this track? Did you freeze just the track or with the instrument?
Hi @Martin.Jirsak !
Thank you for your quick reply. I think I’ve found the exeption handling problem. Will send you a link to my screencapture in PM.
- If a MIDI track is using modulators → freeze is forbitten (grayed out in menu)
- multiselecting tracks with one(s) are using modulators → menu is processing freeze
- But obviously then again: selecting the modulator-using-track and willing to unfreeze from menu or with the orange-asterisk → unfreeze is forbidden (as is shouldn’t be frozen at all)
SOLUTION: multi-select with other non-modulator-using tracks and UNFREEZE from menu.
Does this explanation makes sense?
