Hello everyone,
When I move up or down a channel track, most of the times I position the mouse near the name of the track and I find myself pressing an arrow box.
To clarify please refer to the screen capture.
The action of moving the track is then interrupted to find myself trying again.
I find there is not much space left to hold down the cursor for the up or down.
Is there a way I can remove that arrow box in preference?
Windows 10
Thanks
Oliver
Hello m.c
Thank you for the response.
I tried in Mixconsole preference.
When the project is large I often minimize the tracks at a smaller size to have a better view on the whole project. The medium or larger are current edits or the next in line.
The small one if I batch shulffle to move ctrl or shift. I tend to shop for space in order to hold the cursor and then to drag upper or lower.
If a track is narrowed my choices to place the cursor is on the track would be down left or down right. But if I’m going to drag quickly mute/solo will trigger . Read/write can trigger so I go near the Name and that’s where the arrow box opens. Then I down my pace and look for a place where the mouse can be placed.
It’s not a big deal. I still get the job done. But it annoys me. Is it only me or others have mentionned it . I Don’t know for now, maybe other user respond :))
On 4 letter word’s I see plenty of room
Seems to be when a track is named
with 2 -3 words
For example like:
Outro Fill In Clap
Outro Fill In Tom
In preference MixConsole if I reduce the size of 8 down to 4 maybe it can help.
I’ll try it!
Ok I’ll stop being fussy about it!
:))
But jokes aside longer names on a track, do make it less spontaneous and more like I need to search for a spot to align the mouse before dragging the channel.
More precisisons would be welcomed, as I still don’t get how, once the ‘cogwheel’ clicked, it could help, assuming that it’s truely this one we are talking about :
