Also, as an aside, be aware that if you have a track with many high cpu plugins, if you out that track in record enable or monitor, the track will be moved from ASIOGuard to the realtime path, which usually has a way lower buffer size and thus consumes more CPU. This is important and often overlooked in many “performance tests”

Thst bothers me most. Enabling monitoring on a track without plugins and in a one-track project can raise audio performance monitor higher than in previous Cubase versions.
