Anyone else having trouble getting controller row edit points to Snap to Grid in Cubase 14 Pro?
Hi,
MIDI data snap to the Grid in the Key Editor on my side.
Hi Martin … Yes, some snapping works. But I’ve been trying to edit a complex piece with lots of Volume and Mute controller curve points, and they refuse to Snap. They’re behaving as if Snap is off. It makes it REALLY hard to do anything precise, when trying to line up changes on multiple tracks and their controller lanes.
Hi,
Could you please share the project (delete all other MIDI Tracks and MIDI Notes, please).
Plus … (and I’d be thrilled if anyone could tell me if this is possible) … I wish I could lasso select a whole lot of controller lane points, across multiple tracks, and move them as a block, the way you can with audio or midi clips. For example … I’ve got a midi drum plugin with it’s individual outputs on separate tracks. And I want to move a whole set of Mute points, in multiple lanes, in one hit, as a block selection. But I can’t. I have to move each lane’s set of points, one at a time. It’s messy, time consuming, and risks get things out out of alignment.
How do you want me to share it?
Hi,
Unfortunately this is not possible. You could do it by using Range Tool Selection, when opening the In-Place Editor. But even then, you would need to make sure, you select just the Controller Lanes, so you would need to do the selection track by track.
Hi,
You can share it via Dropbox (or similar service) and send me te link via Private Message here on the forum.
