Good evening everyone,
It would be very helpful if the melody pattern could add control of any MIDI CC.
Or is that possible and I’m not capable of it?
Thank you for your attention.

Hi,
You can do so. Click on the Add Parameter (+) button. Scroll down in the list (MIDI Controller), select the Channel and then the MIDI Controller.
Hello and thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me.
Here are my steps:
I create an Instrument track with Omnisphere 2.
I select “Pattern Event” from the inspector.
I create a block on the track and open the editor.
This is what appears, and the list ends with the attached screenshot.
If I create a MIDI track and click on “+” in the pattern editor, the window doesn’t even open (the “+” is grayed out).
I hope you can help me!
Thank you so much
Hi,
Is it a VST2 or a VST3 plug-in?
Hi, It’s a VST3, I’m almost certain. Unfortunately, there’s no power right now, so I can’t check, but I’m almost certain.
I confirm that it is vst 3
@Martin.Jirsak do you have any good news for me?
Hi,
Unfortunately, I don’t have Omnisphere 2 to be able to test it on my side.
All VST3 plug-ins I have tested provide the full list to me,
Thanks for your help.
So I think it’s a bug. MIDI control changes should be available regardless of the type of instrument loaded on the track.
Furthermore, as I described above, if the track is a simple MIDI track, the “+” button is grayed out. So I can’t use it with my external expanders.
I hope Steinberg has figured out the problem and fixes it with the next maintenance update.
If I recall correctly you have to right click a control in Omnisphere to make it available for the DAW.
Perhaps then it will be in that list?
