C6 Clear Recent Projects

Anyone know how to do this?

I have read a few threads suggesting to move your projects files to a diff location and the recents would clear (that was a suggestion for c5), but that doesn’t seem to be doing it for C6.

Right now I am moving the projects to a diff location and then 1 by 1 clicking the old projects and manually removing them (a bit of a pain).

If anyone has an easier way for me to do this, I would appreciate the guidance.

For Windows version: you manually have to edit Defaults.xml.

That’s weak.

Anyone know what to do for Mac OS?

Maybe this is stored somewhere in the application data files?

I would not move project files manually - I would be afraid of user-errors… Dealing with 1TB of project data from about 5 different full album-productions here… Maybe 100s of cprs… I do not touch project files - exept when I open them.

You need to find out where that “recent projcts” stuff is stored…

Yeah, it is probably stored in some file but it would be nice if there was an easy way to do it; like pushing a button.

One can only hope:)

How do you locate this in regedit? :astonished:

I was totally wrong, I thought it was the same as for some other programs…

For Windows version: manually edit Defaults.xml

I would guess it is the same for MacOS X version?
