I am thinking about installing Cubase 7 but I am concerned about something since trialling it on another machine.
In 6.5 you could solo MIDI parts without having to mute other parts from the project page.
Under C7 you must have “Edit Active part” selected if you don’t want to be cutting or gluing notes which are underneath other parts currently selected.
Would it not make sense to have a button that defeats all unselected channels because how it currently operates in my view is most unsatisfactory.
