C9 using Mac audio line out

If you see link above it suggests you can choose a number of various combos of ASIO/Mac audio, when I do this it only gives me 1 option, the digital output I assume. I want to use the audio line out , anyone ? Mac Pro 5.1 10.12.3 C9 latest

If you select that driver in device setup what output options are then available in vst connections?

As you see what options I have in C9 and the actual outputs the Mac.

Neither of these show VST connections though…have you checked there??

Yes the VST connections just show the availability of outputs corresponding to the chosen driver, in the case of built in, just the one.

It says in the SB page in the OP the they should be seen in the Device Setup page.

Well I found a solution for those who need to do this, create an Aggregate io in the Audio/Midi setup in the Utilities folder and then route that to the line out. Then in CB device setup use that Aggregate device.
