I just wanted to automate bypass of a plugin when I found out that for plugin bypass, which is automation parameter with only two values, this new automation handling does not apply. I cannot select a range and trim it, which I regularly do, and this remains time consuming operation as it remained unchanged from previous versions. I believe Steinberg should look into this and sort it out, because automation handling in current state is only half-done implementation as it doesn’t work with all parameters and is therefore inconsistent.
I understand you cannot use curves with two-value parameters, but trim handle should definitely exist.
