The new coordination lines are very useful in non-cutaway scores for marking critical moments in free passages like this image:
One thing I wish coordination lines could support is coordinating different rhythmic start and end points between staves. For example, when melodic line moves from one instrument to another, I’d like to indicate that on the score, but not the part. The current workaround is to use the line tool but lines are designed to be used within the same staff, not cross multiple staves. So I’d have to manually adjust the line’s offsets in engrave mode and hide it in the parts, but then if the score’s spacing changes I will have to readjust.
Would it be possible add this capability to coordination lines or introduce a new non-vertical coordination line to streamline this process?
