Can Cubase ic Pro be used with an Alesis IO Dock?

I have my ipad docked into my tower with a USB powered alesis io dock and was wondering if I only can go through wifi or if I can use the io dock to control Cubase 7 with Cubase ic pro.

Cubase iC Pro works only through wi-fi, not USB.
