You’re correct here, I believe John, but I myself rarely write monophonic music like this.

Ok - you’ve convinced me to give this a go. Question - for some reason when I press play in Dorico the notes are all sustained - have you come across this? Can’t see that I’ve set up EW especially wrongly…
AFAIK to currently use Symphonic Choirs and WordBuilder with Dorico, you need to use Play version 5 on Windows. However, Ulf has fixed a bug which prevented people from using Play version 6 or Opus with Dorico, and that fix should appear in Dorico 4 early next year.
