Can i assign Cubase elements 8 to MIDI controller?

In Reason essentials 8 i can assign knobs. faders and buttons, thru right click on them, to assign them to MIDI CC numbers on a hardware MIDI controller. Can i do the same thing with Cubase elements 8, and if i can, how do i do it?

Yes, you can do this in Cubase. Search the forum (or manual) for the Generic Remote Device, and also Quick Controls (there is also Quick Start Tutorial on the official Steinberg YouTube Channel about this).
