Now Halion Sonic 2 SE seems to be loaded automatically. in Dorico. Can I assign the full library, Halion Sonic 2 (not SE!!!) as the defeult one? If so, will the sounds still be assigned automatically to the used instruments or voices?
I think you should be able to access any of the HALion content that you already have the licence for. However those sounds won’t be loaded automatically because that relies on extra metadata that links Dorico instruments to HSSE/HSO patches. In future updates you will be able to create your own Playback Templates so that Dorico will use your preferred sounds.
