Can I change the Click/Beep "denominator"?

I’m using the click track not that often. Today I was and I encountered this behavior

  • With cut common time signature and a half note based tempo I get 2 beats per bar (expected).
  • With cut common time and enabled Note Grouping option “Use common time note grouping for cut common time signatures” I get 4 beats per bar (not expected).

Is there a setting to specify the denominator?

The only settings I know of are under Library->Playback Options->Click

Thanks, yes, I saw those but you can only subdivide the beats to get more beats per bar.

My workaround was to disable the option, export the audio with the desired click frequency and re-enable the option.
