Although it doesn’t install as standard HalionOne is still included in the additional content folder of the Cubase 8 installer and can be installed for preference or backwards compatibility.
Don’t forget that with Halion 5, you can build different screen sets. If you want something smaller and more compact, just build it the way you like and save it as your default starting screen set
