I’m running C7.5.4. I’d like to upgrade to 8, and I have access to the full installer (9GB!!).
To save bandwidth, can I just run the 8.0.35 update (600+ MB) to install C8?
No…an 8 update can’t run without an 8 installed already.
When you purchase an upgrade I think you usually receive a link for an installer minus older content which is smaller than the 9Gb full installer. Other than that you’re stuck with the full installer in your MySteinberg account.
