Can I mount MR 816x vertically

Hi all,

Quick question.

I would like to cut a slot in to the top of my desk and mount my MR 816 vertically into it. Is there any reason why I shouldn’t do this?

I want to do it to free up space on my desk. At present it just lays on my desk horizontally taking up too much room.

I see no apparent reason why this should present a problem.

Though, I would probably keep the vent toward the “up” side so that the hot air can escape.

Good advice re position of the vents. Only other thing is to make sure it is secure and doesn’t fall over.
