Can I Remove HALion If I Use NotePerformer?

Hello,

I always use NotePerfomer for playback. Can I safely use Steinberg Library Manager to remove all of the HALion things? Or would that still be needed for something?
I’d love to get back ~8GB of space.

I’ve never installed Halion. I imagine uninstalling is just fine. The only issue would be if you have any projects that Halion, in which case you would need to change the playback template.

OK, I bravely tried this — I removed all the HALion stuff. Everything seems to work fine so far…

If you never use HALion Sonic and never want to use it, then it is absolutely fine to remove all the HALion sounds from your hard drive.
