Can I run Cubase SE3 on my PC and on my laptop?

I am currently using Cubase SE3 on my PC. I want to buy a laptop and instal my cubase SE3 on it so that I can use it for live work. I want to keep the programme running on my PC and just transfer the usb dongle from PC to laptop (and back). Could some let me know if this will be possible before I buy the laptop?
