Can I set edit tools to multiply/add/subtract?

Hello.

I have just been editing some velocities on a bass track to make it less static using the sine tool. When I have some decent feel to it I wanted to ramp it up and down in some passages. So I tried to use the parabola tool to ramp it down. It worked but flattened out my valleys and peaks. Is there a way to set the parabola tool to just add or subtract to the original values so it can ramp but not easy the “profile” so to speak?

You might find these tools are more effective to edit Velocities.

Also the Logical Editor can be used for more complex editing if you want to jump into the deep end of the pool.

Yes, I discovered them shortly after posting and in some ways they are better than my old workflow.
