Can I Trust Media Bay?

Just stabalizing a new system.

1] I have downloaded some samples into my sample drive.

2] I can go to a sample called turtle and play it outside of Cubase, its a wav file

3] I open Media Bay and search for the file - ensuring filters are off and all file types are sought - its not there…

4] Drilling down into the file menu within media bay I can see the appropriate containing folder it is grey/blue and ticked

5] I hit the reset filter button and ensure the result pane is set to view all files

6] Still no show?

Is this wrong or am I making some kind of mistake?

Thank you, it has turned up. I thought that a blue grey folder WAS a scanned folder - according to the manual.
