Can I turn the new click and drag to transpose notes feature off?

About 25% of the time when trying to select notes as I normally do the notes are dragging all over the place and it is immensely bothersome.

I have to hear the notes ripping up and down, then I have to fix them back to the original pitch(es).

I transpose using key commands and have absolutely no use for this feature which is now only serving as an impediment.

Sure. In the main Dorico preferences (on the Dorico menu on Mac, and I think the Edit menu on Windows, untick this option:
