Can I upgrade from Cubase LE8 to a new supported Cubase LE version and how?

I’ve just upgraded my computer to accommodate Windows 11. My soft eLicenser Controller was working fine up until the change over and I wasn’t aware of the changes. Now, of course I cannot access my CubaseLE 8 or WaveLab elements 9 programmes. I realise that eLicenser is no longer being supported. I know I have very old versions of Cubase and WaveLab which were both lifetime purchases apparently but suited me. Can you please let me know how I can upgrade if necessary to a supported LE versions. I have used Cubase since 2000 and don’t want to change system. Both programmes are listed in MySteinberg account.

You should be upgraded automatically when a new version comes out since LE is not software you can buy by itself. The same goes for AI, which comes with some Yamaha and Steinberg hardware products.

Get in contact with Steinberg and hopefully they can help you out with that issue.

You might post in this thread where Matthias and Ed have been responding and adding licenses to peoples accounts.

Steinberg don’t answer support tickets so no way to contact them,

They read the postings here and answer them. Adding the update request mentioned by @Grim works,

I believe either @Martin.Jirsak or @Ed_Doll could be able to look into your issue and assist you.

Thanks, I’ll see if they get back
