I am trying to send midi reset to stop hanging notes etc.
I have a working midi channel that reacts to all midi messages that I can record and play on with out issue, so it is fully functional. However if I get cubase 7 to play the channel and stop mid note, so a note on my midi instrument continues to sound. If then select Midi and RESET to, I think send the reset message. When I do this I was expecting the reset to be sent to the midi instrument and the note to be stopped but this is not happening
I have also got the reset on stop set in midi preferences but as this is not working I presume I have a different problem
