Can only output Cubase audio to left speaker/left headphone

Hi all, working on getting up and running with Cubase and having some audio troubles. I’m on Windows 10.

When using either ASIO4ALL or the generic low latency ASIO driver, I’m only seeing the option to output to the left channel of my speakers. I don’t have an external audio interface. In the audio connections>outputs (when I attempt to add something for the right channel, it only gives me the “left” option, and removes it from the left channel output when I do so).

And under studio setup you’ll see it only lists 1 audio channel option for Speakers, which is probably why it’s only letting me use the left side:

So, the result is that I only hear sound through the left side.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

Here’s a screenshot of the audio connections > output. As noted above, when I attempt to add something to the right channel, it only gives me the “left” option, and removes it from the left channel output if I assign it.

Two more things to add:

I’ve heard about some issues with the Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer, which maybe is an ASUS-specific thing? Wondering if I should be trying to remove that, and/or the RealTek drivers?

Also - FWIW, I’ve got Ableton Live Lite installed, and the audio plays back fine through that.

Have you tried any of these options?

Have you tried with a 16 bit depth instead of 24?

You’re a lifesaver, thank you! Checking the top box indeed solved the issue. Many thanks.
