Hello.
There is no Master Rig plugin/window in WL Pro 12.
Tried to go: File-Preferences-Plugins-WaveLab Plug-in set.vst3-Select-Restart WaveLab…
“Forced Plug-in Detection at Next Launch” and "File - … Ignored plug-ins - “WaveLab.vst3” but - no help.
Do you see other Steinberg plugins, such as “Brickwall Limiter” ?
What is your exact operating system?
Try "Forced Plug-in Detection at Next Launch” several times.
Yes, I see the Brickwall Limiter (Master Section-Effects-Steinberg-Dynamics-Bricwall Limiter).
But when searching for the Master Rig (following the path: Master Section-Steinberg-Mastering-Master Rig), it only shows this Master Rig window…
And when trying “Forced Plug-in Detection at Next Launch” - Restart WaveLab and the computer - (loading some missed plugins…), it shows an error message: "The following plug-in is not responding (GA_Classics_CLEAN.vst3). When I press -Skip - the next error message/window pops up and so on…
I use Windows 10 Home Version 22H2 and a little older (BIOS machine).
Computer specs?
This means the MasterRig is found, but this also means the normal UI can’t be displayed. This is probably because of a too old version of Windows. I think I saw this case before. Maybe you can get more details from the Steinberg official support.
I installed WaveLab on my other (UEFI) laptop, and there is no problem with the right Master Rig window. Yes, this was probably because of too old version of Windows.
I will tell Steinberg support about it and see what they say.
But thanks for your replies.
