i just recorded midi on a track with an instance of Kontakt ( which was deactivated before). When i play it back, i can´t hear the recording, although, it recorded properly and the notes are visible. Same happens , if i copy midi events from other tracks on that track. Did anyone encounter that too and maybe knows, what to do? Thank you
I’m not sure if I understand it correctly, but to hear midi you need to connect the midi data stream to an instrument.
No instrument, no sound.
Leave just one note in the MIDI part, and then save a copy of the project file. Upload it then here.
Make sure the MIDI channel on your MIDI/ Instrument track matches the channel in Kontakt.
Alternatively you can set the MIDI channel in Kontakt to “Omni”.
