Just update from Sierra to Monterey with Cubase 8 Pro. Had to but a new interface: Focusrite Scarlett Solo (3rd generation). For some reason o can record audio and line in with GarageBand, but not Cubase. All settings look OK, and I can see the Solo responding to input. Just will not output to Cubase.
Trying to get answers from Focusrite, but thought folk here might have a solution. It’s not a compatibly issue.

Make sure the driver is allowed in the System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General, please.
Also make sure Cubase is allowed in the System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Microphone, please.
