I’m confused by some of the comments on here because it sounds like people are trying to master in a laptop using the internal soundcard.
What would be good was that steinberg let us use the windows Audio Driver.
Sometimes we just want to cut some files, fade in/outs, on wavlab, or start a music sketch on cubase.
And the hassle of stoping all windows audio and reconfiguring AudioDrivers just because steinberg wont let us use the Windows Driver, is just anoying and creativity restrictive.
I dont think is that hard to implement, all other software use it.
This is one reason i ditched Wavelab for other editors, and cubase one day is going the same way.
