Can we import 7.5 pref files ?

Hi,

Can we import 7.5 preferences like key commands and preference presets, via copying xml files, without messing up ?

I wouldn’t suggest doing that even though the upgrade process should do it automatically. I had copied my 7 preferences to 7.5 and had weird issues that only went away if I blew out them out and started from scratch. I think Steinberg’s suggestion would be the same.

Thanks for the advice. Won’t do with the whole pref. But i’ve copied my key command xml into the presets folder and loaded it, seems to work so far.

I imported mine from 7.5 on the whole it worked but my iPad controller software stopped working until I deleted my midi configuration and rebuilt it. Works fine now.
