Can you change duration of staccato notes?

Is it possible to change the default length of a staccato note? Ex. if the default is 50% of original note length, can I change that to 75%? The default sound is a little harsh for what I’m working on.

Have you tried the Playback options ? (cmd-shift-P on mac or ctrl-shift-P on PC)

@MarcLarcher’s suggestion should work if you’re using Elements or Pro.
For SE, you might have to get creative and use staccatissimos or staccato-tenutos. One of the times when it is handy to have two scores, one for notation and one for playback. Did that myself once or twice.
