can you have sample editor and project window open together

Sorry for the newby question. I have cubase 7.5 and have not found a shortcut to go from sample window to project window. I have to completely close the sample editor to see the tracks on the main page. This may be a necessity of the program but I would like to see both at once.

Also is there a way to change the default browser from internet explorer to chrome?

I use keystroke combination to cycle through application windows. If you are using Windows it should work for you also.
