Can you help me connect a usb mic?!

Hi everyone, this really destroys my confidence but I cannot get the usb mic to work in cubase 8.5. I created a bus in the connections, did everything I could think of in the device setups, but there is no signal. I think i must be missing something. Please could anyone be detailed on the steps to follow?
